Hillsborough Barber Shop

Where Tradition Meets Community
When Anthony Rosati bought Hillsborough Barber Shop in 2009, he wasn’t just taking over a business. He was stepping into a legacy that Doug DeCicco had built since 1959. Doug learned his craft under his father at Jazzy’s Barber Shop in Rocky Hill, and when he passed the torch to Anthony, that same commitment to old-school barbershop tradition came with it.
This is the real deal. No appointments, no pretense, just walk in and you’ll find yourself in that easy, friendly atmosphere where conversation flows as smoothly as the clippers. Anthony runs a tight shop, and the barbers he keeps around know their craft inside and out. You’ll find professionals who can nail both classic cuts and modern fades, barbers whose flat tops are legendary, and stylists who bring meticulous attention to detail that has customers writing rave reviews. It’s a mix of experienced professionals, some family members who grew up in the trade, and talented newcomers who all share the same commitment to quality.
What makes this place special is how it’s woven into the fabric of Hillsborough. The barbershop has been a fixture on the same spot since 1959, and when you sit in that chair, you’re part of a tradition that’s been serving this community for decades. The original marquee sign from when Doug first opened still hangs inside, a reminder that some things are worth preserving.
It’s cash only and walk-ins only, just like it’s always been. Simple, straightforward, and focused on what matters: giving you a quality cut.
